You see some interesting vehicles in rural China, including this truck overloaded with cornstalks. Before I took this shot, a bunch of stalks had fallen off and we helped the farmer reload them before he took off down the road again. On this chilly and overcast summer day, a profusion of yellow wildflowers accent the bluffs overlooking an ocean cove on California’s Central Coast near Carmel.
The sun is rising over the Upper Newport Bay, a large coastal wetland and nature preserve in Southern California. The upper bay connects to the Lower Newport Bay and eventually the Pacific Ocean.
At the same park referenced in my previous post, this family was relaxing in a tree, with baby monkey putting his fingers in mommy’s mouth.
