The second image, taken in the same location in Colorado, is also monochromatic in appearance. I processed both images for a light, high key look.
It is February and the waters of this Rocky Mountain creek near Boulder are melting slightly. You would think that spring was near. But sunshine and warmth return even in the coldest of Colorado winters and spring snowstorms sometimes continue until early May.
